La grande roue tourne,

Forte, constante,

Tout comme Martine

Qui l’adore tant.

Martine is an exceptional woman.

Alsatian. Work, Family, Homeland.

But I would say that there are two Martines living together in the same petite body.

There is Martine in stainless steel, a warrior woman, like the one who crossed Paris on her horse sliding down the Seine this summer, during the Olympic Games.

This Martine is determined, she’s a fighter.  She knows what she wants and what she doesn't want, she knows what she says, she knows what she does. She is running the marathon.

This Martine is a builder.  She has three grown-up daughters. She has her beautiful apartment. This Martine is a seasoned strategist.

She manages teams, she manages complex processes. She knows how to make difficult decisions and implement them. She loves “to connect the dots,” crafting persuasive stories that her profession demands.

And the other Martine is a graceful dreaming bird.

This Martine is a traveler.  She is in permanent movement, light as a feather, she never keeps still. Her favorite country is Japan. Japan had seduced her very early, especially when Martine, who sleeps little, read that Japan is called 'the land of the rising sun' – a perfect match.

This Martine is a dreamer.

As a child, she loved to escape into the vineyards, climb a hill and contemplate the horizon of possibilities. And her great passion is the Big Wheel, she takes photos of it all over the world, she collects it, as if Martine wanted to build herself the biggest wheel and climb on it, to do an impossible ride.

This Martine likes black & white photography, with its contrasts but especially its halftones.  She loves spring and the mountains in summer. She likes to make self-portraits, but without a face, as an enigma, a ghost woman.

This Martine is free. Free from judgments and the looks of others. Free from family beliefs.

She's well.

Secret Garden… An exhibition as an "Experience" .

An invitation to push open the door of a private place, a place usually hidden from view and judgment, where works of art slip into the density of the contents of a home. A living space that opens up to you, to discover the very personal story of its owner.Jardin Secret…

Secret Garden… An exhibition as a "Confidence".

The confidence of the one who welcomes in his or her intimacy and who, during several meetings with the curator Liza Fetissova, abandons himself or herself and delivers to her the significant episodes of his or her life ... Stories that will guide the choice of works of art, then staged in his or her habitat, in harmony and in conversation with the place, the host, his or her history. Jardin Secret is a psychological, subjective and above all creative interpretation of a host dialoguing with the works of art

Secret Garden… an exhibition as a “Voyage”.

An intimate journey that takes you far from the “you” of today… Towards your memories and the shadows or lights of the past. A journey to always bring you to the best version of yourself, the lightest, the most enlightened. It is an intimate, immersive and tailor-made exhibition, in which the owner of the place becomes the source of information and inspiration for the selection of works of art that will embody it.

Jardin Secret takes you on a sensory walk. You walk into the house or apartment of a stranger. You immerse yourself in an unknown space where objects, furniture, smells can evoke unexpected associations, sometimes very personal. And the walls, the corners, “unroll” the works of art like the pages of a fiction that turns around you. The works, the place, its owner and the objects that populate it: all become the actors of the Secret Garden.

Sometimes it disturbs, but above all, a stroll in a Secret Garden will enlighten you.

Secret Garden… An exhibition as a “Gift”.

A real gift chosen with love… You know, the one you buy after much thought.

Secret Garden is ultimately, above all, an encounter with yourself.

Come inside.
