Svetlana Efremova is born in 1997 in Piatigorsk, Russia.
She lives and works in Moscow.
She works with different materials : drawing, mosaic, glass.
Great-granddaughter of the famous Russian XIX century painter Ivan Kuzmich Makarov, Svetlana Efremova masters traditional school techniques but she is in search of her own visual language.

“Taking Antiquity at this stage as the standard of balance between body and spirit, as the standard of attitude to art and to life in general, I began to create works in which there is always an exciting precedent for me personally, creating the ground for deeper introspection and leading to a greater understanding of personal harmony.”
Her works are in private collections in Russia and Europe.
